so last friday...

i had a nice afternoon.

first just with kay, as we continued with her "checking off" list at school - the agenda list of all the places one could visit at ubc. After a long sit/chat with the ladies in the AC, miss q and i went over to the village for some Vera's. Good stuff, i may say, although i SHOULDA had my corona =p lol. Next time? Although not for at least the next fortysome days i guess since our lenten season is coming.

THEN, i had some weird 'itch', shall i say, to walk at the rose garden. Although there are no roses whatsoever in that garden. So after a long, crazy, crack-filled walk to the echo round place outside buchanan and laserre we met up with megs... who does not look amused after just coming out of her UNJY econ class. (I'm literally lol-ing as i think about ms. song speaking =p "constanteenoopel... livel" ?!?! hahaha.

We journey towards the rose garden, kay asks "anyone need to go into chan?"
i giggle... with my usual semi-dirtyness =p...

so onward right by the rose garden... where the wind is blowing like crazy.

After a good two maybe three minutes, we walk on. Why not go to the Museum of Anthropology?

"Let's!" i say, but not without first sitting in bush of some pinkish flowers! =p I could not get up, so my AWESOME friends helped me up but without documenting my clever curiosity (that's what we'll call it, capeesh?)

ANYDANGHOO... after a few more pictorials - first at the "i forget some ladies name" house, then at the museum's signpost... we FINALLY enter the museum. Totem poles... ceramics... masks and cool stuff... the raven-shell thingy... good times. It's nice to appreciate things that are right in your own backyard.

We also went outside, cause we just couldn't pass the scene of the setting sun and the snow-covered mountains... we also warned the cliff about danger! =p

Walked further to where kay's office had their barbecue one summer... a very nice women's alumni pavillion. The garden at back is pretty... i took a picture of the funky plant thingy.

That's about it for last friday... i think we all journeyed our separate ways to our own destinations. Mine was for home... to study, then apparently fall asleep sooner than i had planned. -- something i probably should be thankful for.

and so that was friday.

look comments work now!
