David Maine:
God reigns over everything
or did he say
God rains over everything
and does it matter?
Because I'm pretty sure it does. It seems like one of them says,
God is in charge so watch your step. And the other says, God can
take [_] away
everything
but He'll give back everything too,
so it's up to us what to make of the sun and rain and all the animals and whatever else we find.
I think it matters which one we choose, because that's going to decide how we tell the story.
When the story gets told, and told again and then again, things will change. They always do.
Not on purpose, but just because people don't ever really listen.
So we should at least make sure we understand what happened to begin with.
