Drew Baylor: Because we have a moment here, let me tell you that I have recently become a secret connoisseur of 'last looks'. You know the way people look at you when they believe it's for the last time? I've started collecting these looks.
hmm... i'd like to take this 'last look' but it seems that i cannot even remember THE last... could that mean that it isn't?
"If it wasn't this... it'd be something else."
Who are "they"??? The 'they' that apparently say a bunch of things about life that will hit you, either ten minutes or ten years from now...
"Everyone is less mysterious than they think they are."
i think this is true... mostly. i guess most of us would like to believe that we are 'mysterious' and have everyone else to be interested in is, but the thing is that no matter how unique we all think ourselves to be... we are all fairly similar creatures. say look at me, right now it sounds like i know all this stuff because i pick things up from watching a couple of movies here and there and make my own observations based on my twenty-one (i thought i was twenty-two for a second) years of existence; but mostly, i think it just feels nice to find some answers or at least some form of one. Conclusions, Ends to a means, Resolutions, etc... these all give us a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
what do i think about all this?
